Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham Festival Sale attracts an outstanding collection of twenty two entries

The 2017 Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham Festival Sale has catalogued twenty two top class future prospects who will be offered for sale in the world famous winners enclosure after racing on Thursday 16 March at 6.15pm.

The hard copy of the catalogue will be posted out on Thursday 9 March with entries and videos updated online as lots are accepted for the Sale.

Lot 1:     Nun's Cross 5yo mare Kalanisi:  
This beautifully bred half sister to THE REAL ARTICLE put in a solid performance to win the Mares bumper at Clonmel on 2 March on her debut run.

Lot 2:     Jaunty Warrior 5yo gelding by Lucarno:  
He made a big impression on his second start to win the bumper at Ffos Las on 1 March beating the highly regarded Duc De Beauchene. 

Lot 3:     Chosen Path 4yo gelding by Well Chosen:  
This €31,000 store was only beaten 3 1/2 lengths in a top class 4yo Maiden at Knockanard, with the second a subsequent 8 length winner at Lemonfield. 

Lot 4:     Gallahers Cross 5yo gelding by Getaway:
A well bred gelding who travelled with supreme ease throughout when recording a facile debut success by 8 lengths in the 5yo Maiden at Punchestown on 12 February.

Lot 5:     Impact Factor 5yo gelding by Flemensfirth:
He has registered two promising runs in hotly contested bumpers including when placed 3rd on his debut run to the highly regarded West Coast Time and 2nd beaten only 2 lengths by Poli Roi (a £300,000 purchase at the Cheltenham November Sale) at Navan on 19 February.

This half brother to Dusky Legend made a big impression winning his maiden by an effortless 15 lengths at Didmarton on 4 March.

Lot 8:     Lackaneen Leader 5yo mare by Oscar:
A classy and extremely tough half sister to DON'T TOUCH IT, she was the emphatic 8 length winner of her maiden at Lismore on 5 March. 

Lot 9:     Rapid Escape 4yo gelding by Doyen:
A powerful 10 length debut winner of his 4yo Maiden at Tinahely on 19 February, showing a great attitude and plenty of speed to compliment his notable stamina.

Lot 11:   Monbeg Zena 5yo mare by Flemensfirth:
A full sister to Sizing Gold made the perfect start to her career when scoring by 4 lengths in impressive fashion on her debut in the Mares Maiden at Ballinaboola on 5 February.

Lot 12:   Ex Patriot 4yo gelding by Elusive Pimpernel:
Winner of the Grade 3 Juvenile hurdle at Fairyhouse on 25 February disqualified and placed 2nd. Holds an entry for the JCB Triumph Hurdle Grade 1 the next day.

Lot 13:   Western Honour 5yo gelding by Westerner:
Posted a fine effort when showing plenty of speed and a willing attitude up the testing Armagh hill on his debut to take the 5yo Maiden at Farmaclaffley on 1 March.

Lot 15:   Shimmer's Rock 5yo mare by Westerner:
Placed 2nd twice in point to points before running out the impressive winner of her bumper at Gowran Park on 18 February. A half sister to THE NEW ONE.

Lot 16:   Slate House 5yo gelding by Presenting:
One of the most impressive autumn four year old point to point winners in 2016 when asserting his class to take the hotly contested Maiden at Tattersalls Farm on 20 November 2016 by 10 lengths.

Lot 17:   Posh Trish 4yo mare by Stowaway:
She ran out a wide margin 14 length winner of the top class 4yo Mares Maiden at Lemonfield on 5 March which is a source of top mares. 

Lot 18:   Palmers Hill 4yo gelding by Goldwell:
An emphatic 20 length winner of his maiden at Tyrella on 4 March, clearly underlined his progression and the class of his debut run when placed 3rd to the record breaking £480,000 Flemenshill at Oldtown.

Lot 19:   The Big Lense 4yo gelding by Court Cave:
Out of the black type performer MEGANS JOY The Big Lense was the most impressive 20 length debut winner of the 2m 4f 4yo Maiden at Cragmore on 19 February. 

Lot 20:   Just Your Type 5yo gelding by Morozov:
A giant of a horse who caught the eye on debut with the manner in which he jumped and galloped to win on his debut at Lismore on 5 March.

Lot 22:   Classic Impart 5yo mare by Witness Box:
The own sister to the classy WYMOTT, she displayed the same battling qualities when narrowly beaten on her debut run at Lemonfield on 5 March.

Lot 23:   Sky Pirate 4yo gelding by Midnight Legend:
This well bred son of a black type mare showed plenty of class to win his debut Maiden at Larkhill on 19 February by 3 lengths. 

Lot 24:   Voie Dans Voie 4yo gelding by Coastal Path:
Has recorded two solid runs in 4yo Maidens when placed 2nd at Lemonfield on 5 March to the highly regarded MASTER OF TARA and 3rd on his debut run at Punchestown.

Lot 26:   The Dellercheckout 4yo gelding by Getaway:
A horse with plenty of gears who jumped for fun when taking his rivals out of their comfort zone to win the 4yo Maiden at Lismore.

Lot 27:   Pallaskenry 5yo gelding by Olden Times:
Progressed from his debut run when beaten only 1/2 length to win his 5yo Maiden in emphatic fashion at Cragmore on 19 February.
