The demand for high-class young National Hunt prospects that have shown their ability in point to points has seen an increase of trainers and owners in the UK specialising in this market. The last few years have seen record breaking prices at Cheltenham for UK point to pointers of up to £220,000. Top class graduates from the English point to point field in recent years include SANTINI, placed second in this year's Gold Cup for Nicky Henderson.

The Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale, now scheduled for Thursday 3rd December at the world renowned Park Paddocks complex in Newmarket will provide the perfect platform for handlers to offer young talent in a vibrant market place.

The English point to point season kicks off at Bishops Court, East Devon on Saturday 24th October.
