Fourteen Wildcard Entries Complete The Tattersalls Ascot March Sale

A total of 14 wildcard entries have been added to the Tattersalls Ascot March Sale, which takes place on Wednesday 22nd March. The catalogue now numbers 131 Lots and comprises 22 fillies/mares in/out of training, 101 colts/geldings in/out of training, two stores, six point-to-pointers. The full catalogue can be viewed online at tattersallsascot.com, with printed catalogues available on the day of the sale.

Wildcard entries include Lot 88 KARUMA GREY who will be offered by Ellmarie Holden’s Coolmeen Stables, who brings a total of three Lots to the sale. The five-year-old son of JUKEBOX JURY is the winner of his latest start in an 18 runner Maiden Hurdle at Gowran Park on 11th March.

Lot 89 SAMADABAD, also offered by the same vendor is sure to make plenty of appeal. The four-year-old son of FASTNET ROCK, a half-brother to the black-type performer SIMEEN ran a race full of promise when third on his first start over hurdles at Navan this month.

Mrs Bevin’s Shorne Hill Stables will offer Lot 90 GWASH a four-year-old son of OL’ MAN RIVER who was the taking debut winner of his Maiden point-to-point at Charm Park on 5th March.

The Ascot March Sale is headlined by a draft of 37 Lots from Godolphin which will be available for inspection at the Ascot racecourse stables from 12.00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday 21st March.
