Equine Influenza Controls & Documentation
Requirements for all Horses attending the Tattersalls Cheltenham Festival Sale
Thursday 21st March 2019

 

 

·      Compliant EI vaccines within SIX calendar months to Friday 22nd March, recorded in the horse’s passport, as required by the Rules and signed by a veterinary surgeon.

·      Equine Influenza Declaration Form (EIDF), which details the horse’s temperature on the morning of arrival to the racecourse or upon departure from home stables. (See Attached)

·       PCR Form confirming a negative result for Equine Influenza from a nasopharyngeal swab taken during the 96 hours prior to the horse's arrival at the venue.

·      Health Certificate – Tattersalls Cheltenham require a Health Certificate for all horses attending this sale. (See Sample Attached)

·      Entry Forms – All entry forms must be completed before Lots arrive on site at Cheltenham.

 

Arrival

 

Tattersalls Ascot staff will need to check all paperwork upon arrival and before any horse is unloaded at the venue. Please do allow additional time for this process when arriving at Ascot.
